Proč se tak děje, co se stalo?

I can't log in to my humyo account on SafeSync

You may need to reset your password in order to access your account. Enter the e-mail address you used to log in to your humyo account here and follow the instructions.

If the e-mail address with which you registered for Humyo was already in use by a Trend Micro account, we had to choose a new login e-mail address to migrate your humyo account to SafeSync.

We sent the new login to the e-mail address you used for Humyo on or just after 23rd November 2011, please check your inbox for the message.

If you can’t find the e-mail, you can determine the login for your migrated humyo account by replacing the ‘@’ sign in your e-mail address with ‘-’ and adding on ‘@humyo.com’. For example, if your Humyo e-mail address was bob@gmail.com, login to SafeSync with the e-mail address bob-gmail.com@humyo.com to access your Humyo files.

Use the new e-mail address with your original Humyo password to login to the SafeSync website and the desktop software to access your Humyo files. You can change the e-mail address to something more appropriate once you have logged in.

U stávajících uživatelů služby humyo nedochází k žádné změně. I nadále mohou plně využívat komplexní humyo nabídky a souvisejícího kvalitního servisu stejně jako doposud.   • Přihlašovat se budete přes stránky humyo.cz. Uživatelé humyo Premium a humyo Pracovní prostor budou moci stále využívat humyo Smart Drive. V případě problémů nebo jakýchkoliv dotazů kontaktujte humyo technickou podporu.
  • Nemám účet humyo, mohu si jej aktivovat?

Advanced users may find that some use cases have changed from Humyo to SafeSync. These changes have invariably been made to improve ease-of-use or reliability and will have a positive impact on the vast majority of users:

  • Ne, noví uživatelé si již humyo aktivovat nemohou. Nové registrace na humyo nejsou akceptovány. Možnost je jedině v případě, že již máte aktivovanou neplacenou verzi humyo, potom jej můžete povýšit na humyo Premium nebo humyo Pracovní prostor.
  • Version history is limited to the last 10 versions. Humyo accounts that included version history retained unlimited versions but most of our users found that this consumed too much of their storage space.
  • The integrations with third party applications Zoho (online office suite) and Snipshot (online image editor) have been removed. We could not assure the quality level of these third party applications and users frequently found support for more complex files lacking.

What is the difference between humyo Workspace and SafeSync for Business?

In addition to the changes listed above, there are also some differences specific to business accounts on humyo and SafeSync:

  • Only one user can be configured as a Safesync for Business account administrator.
  • Company colours and logo cannot be added to SafeSync for Business accounts.
  • Unlike humyo Workspace, SafeSync for Business always has virus scanning enabled.

Your Humyo account will automatically be switched to a Trend Micro SafeSync account on or shortly after 23rd November 2011. Your data and settings will be transferred automatically, you won’t need to take any action and there will be no interruption to services.

Mohu převést svůj humyo účet na Trend Micro SafeSync?

Humyo Premium Customers

Nové služby budou nabízeny jak humyo uživatelům, tak uživatelům Trend Micro SafeSync, přesto ale není možné převést data uložená na humyu na účet SafeSync.

Nedoporučujeme uživatelům humyo Premium nebo humyo Pracovní prostor migrovat na SafeSync. Zatímco uživatelé neplacené verze humyo mohou migrací na SafeSync získat větší prostor.

Pokud chcete přejít z humya na SafeSync, potom tak musíte učinit manuálně, tzn. otevřít si účet SafeSync a potom učinit následující:

Koho mohu kontaktovat v souvislosti s mým humyo účtem?

Humyo podpora se nezměnila, k dispozici máte stejné způsoby komunikace jako doposud. Pro detailnější informace klikněte zde.

Mohu si změnit svůj humyo účet nebo z něj odebrat uživatele?

Přestože humyo již není k dispozici pro nové uživatele, tak ti stávající jej mohou využívat bez jakýchkoliv změn. To znamená, že můžete svůj účet povýšit, snížit nebo bez problémů ubrat uživatele. Máte také možnost rozšířit si jeho kapacitu nebo změnit účtovací období. K obsluze účtu využijte sekci „Můj účet“.

Z neplacené služby humyo můžete bez problémů přejít na službu humyo Premium. Zde vás ale musíme upozornit, že následně již nebude možné vrátit se zpět na neplacenou verzi.

Budou mít uživatelé humya nové funkce?

Většina nových funkcí a vylepšení služby SafeSync bude replikována i na služby humyo.

If you’re not using your full 100GB allowance you can switch to SafeSync 20GB at renewal time and make a cost saving. When making your price comparison please note that the SafeSync price includes mobile apps and SecureCloud data encryption.

Humyo Workspace Customers

Your Humyo subscription expiry date is carried over to SafeSync and we’ve added on one month free. When your subscription expires, you’ll need to re-enter your billing information into the Trend Micro website to continue – we’ll email you a link at the time. The current pricing for SafeSync for Business is available at http://go.trendmicro.com/safesyncforbusiness. SafeSync for Business may be purchased on an annual basis only but for customers with 5 or more users, the price will normally be lower. When making your price comparison please note that SafeSync includes mobile apps and SecureCloud data encryption and business accounts include 50GB of space per user vs. 25GB per user with Humyo Workspace.

As a valued user we’re giving you a SafeSync 50GB account free until 1st July 2012. After that you can purchase SafeSync (current pricing) or if you don’t want to pay, you can get an extra month free for each of your friends you get to try SafeSync!

There’s no other option to continue your service with us but if these options don’t suit you, you have until 1st July 2012 to download the data you have stored with us. Your SafeSync account includes both PC software and whole-folder online download features to help you do this quickly.

What if I don’t want to switch to SafeSync?

You can rest assured that SafeSync is even more reliable and secure than Humyo. If you really don’t want to switch you can close your Humyo account before 14th November 2011 and will be entitled to a pro-rata refund of the service fees you’ve paid.

What do I need to do to switch to SafeSync?

You won’t need to lift a finger - the switch will happen automatically on or shortly after 23rd November 2011. When the switch happens you’ll notice the logo on your file manager change from Humyo to SafeSync and the colours change from Humyo orange to SafeSync red.

Your data and settings will be transferred automatically and any links to files you have shared will continue to work. You can still go to humyo.com to login but you’ll be automatically redirected to safesync.com.

You’ll be able to continue using the humyo desktop software you have installed with SafeSync but we recommend you upgrade to SafeSync 5.0 desktop software – your humyo desktop client will show a notification when the desktop software update is available.

How does this affect resellers/partners?

How this affects you depends on whether you offer Humyo branded products (your end users see a Humyo logo on their products) or products under your own company name (your end user see your own company logo and colours on their products).

Humyo Resellers (your end users see the humyo logo on their products)

If you’re an associate or reseller selling Humyo branded products, your end users will be transferred to SafeSync on the same basis as an end user who purchased directly from Humyo.

We will include your end users in the e-mail communications we send to Premium and Workspace account holders though you may also wish to inform them of what to expect.

Humyo subscription expiry dates will be carried over to SafeSync and we’ll add on one month free. There’s no account management portal for resellers so when end user subscriptions expire, you’ll need to purchase the appropriate SafeSync renewal from your Trend Micro distributor for your customer. Trend Micro will prompt your end users to contact you when their subscription nears expiry.

The answers to all the questions above apply to the migration of your end users so you might wish to consult those for more information.

White-Label Resellers (your end users see your company logo and name on their products)

If you have a Humyo White Label reseller account, we wrote to you in September 2011 explaining that the white-label service will be discontinued as it unfortunately does not contribute a sufficient number of end users to our service for it to be commercially viable. You had the choice to transfer your customers to Trend Micro branded SafeSync accounts or to terminate their service on 14th December 2011.

If you opted to transfer your customers to Trend Micro SafeSync, your end users’ files will be migrated to the smallest SafeSync account (20GB, 50GB, 100GB, 250GB or 500GB) that equals or exceeds the storage capacity of their current account. They will need to install and login to Trend Micro SafeSync instead of your white-label service. We will make a pro-rata refund of any White-Label Maintenance Fee beyond 14th December that you have pre-paid for. Other than that, you and your customers can expect the same as described in the “Humyo Resellers” section of this answer so you might want to read that now. We will include your users in the communications we send to humyo users but you should inform them of what to expect from Humyo/Trend Micro.

If you opted to terminate your service, your white label service URL will cease to function, data stored will be permanently deleted and your customers will not be able to use the service from 14th December 2011. We will make a pro-rata refund for any service beyond 14th December that you have pre-paid for and will not charge you for your reseller account fee or for any customer account charges falling due between 1st October and 14th December as a gesture of goodwill. If you have chosen this option, we will not contact your end users so you must contact them and inform them of what to expect.
